Support - Pension Support Policy

Primary Business Services
AccuDraft’s primary business is:
  • creation of certain sample retirement and employee benefit plans and other related documents
  • furnishing of software for the automated assembly and preparation of some of these sample plans and related documents to organizations in the professional retirement planning community (“Users”)
  • procurement of IRS approval for certain plans as volume and/or prototype mass submitter plans and permitting of Users to become authorized sponsors of these plans
  • providing of pension and computer technical support to Users for the above services as described below
User Responsibility For Final Documents
Users may utilize AccuDraft’s sample plans and related documents to assist them in the final establishment, amendment, communication, and IRS qualification of such plans for their clients. In all cases, the User will have full responsibility for:
  • proper and appropriate use of all our products and services
  • correctness and completeness of final document language for any specific client situation
Support Policy
It is our intention to provide high-quality pension support to our Users according to the Support Guidelines below. Our staff of attorneys, technicians and actuaries will make their best efforts to provide timely and meaningful responses whenever possible, either by e-mail or by telephone. However, if a User requests assistance outside of the scope of our services as described below, we may either decline to answer, or otherwise limit our response. In addition:

Whether provided by phone or in writing, our pension support responses are provided as a professional courtesy for informational and discussion purposes only, and cannot be construed or relied upon as legal opinions or as being appropriate for any specific plan or client situation.

Support Guidelines
Pension telephone and e-mail support is available on document-related issues pertaining to the language in AccuDraft's plan documents, SPDs, amendments, other related documents, AccuDraft's checklists or on-screen interviews, including:
  • distinctions between plan provisions and general discussions of ramifications of choices in AccuDraft's plans
  • general questions related to the application of provisions in AccuDraft sample plans
AccuDraft pension support will not provide:
  • pension planning advice or suggestions of plan provisions to choose for specific client situations
  • investment or business planning advice
  • consulting on plan administrative or operational issues
  • scenario discussions of specific client situations
